Game Mens Jordan Hicks Jersey Bernard Reedy has been cut five times by NFL teams, including once this season by his current employer. He hasn’t let the challenges of trying to grasp hold of a fleeting NFL career make him forget about his other job.
After Reedy and the Patriots try to win Super Bowl LII against the Eagles on Sunday, he will return home to St. Petersburg, Fla., to work for Care Ride. It is a transportation service for people battling terminal illnesses and recovering from strokes, heart attacks, organ transplants, amputations and serious accidents.
The Buccaneers eventually cut Reedy again, and he latched on with the Patriots. They’ve signed him, cut him and signed him Womens Kelechi Osemele Jersey again already since mid-November, but Reedy is in Minnesota for the Super Bowl.
He was gone from the team for two weeks, and during that time Reedy went back to work for Care Ride, just like he will once the offseason begins.
That’s just what comes with the NFL and what teams need for them, Reedy said. My job is to stay ready, be respectful, be coachable and be that positive person that I’ve always been. Like I will always be ready, even through the ups and downs, being released, getting put back on [the roster], I’m still going to be the same old person regardless of what might happen.
Arkansas prospect Brandon Allen even went to a hand masseuse to stretch out his small hands, and it reportedly worked 鈥?Allen’s hands measured 8 ?/? inches here after measuring 8 1/? inches at the Senior Bowl.
Broncos president John Elway, once a pretty good quarterback himself, said he recently measured his own hands at 10 1/? inches.
Hand size is important, Elway said Thursday. As a player you never look at it, as a GM, you always look at it.
The NFL is debating changes to the scouting combine but continues to run into interference from teams that like the format as is.
Some within the league would like to have players put on pads and compete against each other in drills, but that is considered unlikely because top prospects would balk at the possibility of an injury before the draft.
You don’t want to get away from the traditional drills that we’ve done, because you have so much information stored over the years for a comparison, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said this week. But, you don’t want to grow stale either. We’re in a review process.
